Pacifica Fightback hosted two town halls in July. The first on July 5, examined some issues Pacifica has been neglecting under its current “New Day” control, especially the recent US-Israeli attack on Iran, and the connections between the struggle for democracy and diversity at Pacifica and the larger struggle for peace, justice and democratic rights. Democracy and lives are in the balance!

We followed up with a second town hall looking further at what it will take to restore Pacifica to its historic role as a defender of and platform form freedom of speech and cultural expression, cutting edge community engagement, impactful journalism and incisive analysis. That was two weeks later on July 19.
