“The Battle for Community Radio” was a two-hour special, broadcast on WBAI and WPFW on Dec. 8, 2020, co-hosted by Mimi Rosenberg of “Building Bridges” and John Riley of “Out FM”. It featured Mumia Abu-Jamal speaking out for democracy and decentralization at Pacifica, against efforts to control or silence grassroots voices and dissent.
