End the Blockade on Cuba

November 24-27, a young women’s conference in Havana will seek to expand international actions against the blockade and demand that Washington remove Cuba from the list of “nations that support terrorism.” Focus on LA/NYC and international protests on Oct. 29 before the UN vote against the blockade. Millions of Cubans are voting on a new Family Code that has been discussed and amended in thousands of meetings. It expands women’s rights, LGBTQ rights and codifies the increased role of women in Cuban society and their continued fight against the centuries of sexism.

Compare this to the national & local attacks on abortion and reproductive rights in the US with more attacks on LGBTQ rights and gay marriage to come.

They will also bring much needed medical equipment…so your contribution can also assist in that effort.
