The Pacifica National Board will be considering a motion to suspend director Donald Goldmacher over his support for this complaint petition to the FCC challenging the license renewal of Pacifica’s station in NY, WBAI. Pacifica Safety Net has backed two Bylaws referenda to try to eliminate elected local governance and put their own preselected leadership in charge of Pacifica. Their allies, including on the LSB of KPFA have supported the shut down of other stations, efforts to force the Foundation into bankruptcy or receivership, all with an eye on taking control and selling off the assets of Pacifica developed with the sweat equity and donations of our listener and staff members.
